ARL-SAA Digital Archives Specialist (DAS) courses

Do you want to develop your skills for appraising, capturing, preserving, and providing access to born-digital special collections? Could you use some insight into working with donors? Would you like to grow your community of colleagues, especially those located in the northeastern United States or southeastern Canada? Register for one or more of these four courses:

March 10: Digital Curation: Creating an Environment for Success 

March 11: Digital Archives and Libraries

March 12: Preserving Digital Archives

March 13–14: Digital Forensics for Archivists (Parts I and II)

Registration

Register online at the SAA website. Registration is per course—participants are not required to sign up for the whole week but are offered a package discount if they do.

Registration prices are based on the registrant’s status as one of the following:

  • SAA member: $249/day
  • Employee of an SAA institutional member: $279/day
  • Employee of an ARL member institution: Contact Judy Ruttenberg for the co-sponsor promotion code to register at $274/day or $235/day if all four courses are taken (a substantial discount from the non-member price).
