Service Quality Evaluation Academy Class of 2013 Selected

The academy is an intensive five-day program cosponsored by ARL and CARL that focuses on introductory qualitative and quantitative methods for collecting and analyzing library service quality data. It is designed for librarians across library types and organizational structures who have a strong commitment to service quality assessment efforts. Library Assessment Career Achievement Awardees Named for 2012

These awards recognize individuals with substantial contributions to effective, sustainable, and practical library assessment as evidenced through presentations/publications, methods, service, advocacy, and other work. The 2012 awardees are Karin De Jager and Joan Rapp from South Africa, Sam Kalb from Canada, and Don King from the United States.

 
 

Library Value: Conceptualizing, Capturing & Communicating Impact

Megan Oakleaf, associate professor in the iSchool at Syracuse University, will lead the half-day event, “Library Value: Conceptualizing, Capturing & Communicating Impact.”

 
 

Library Assessment Conference Award-Winning Posters Now Online

Library Assessment Forum to Feature LibValue Work by U of Tennessee

ARL will host a Library Assessment Forum at the upcoming ALA Midwinter Meeting, featuring LibValue research conducted at the University of Tennessee. The forum will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the Sheraton Seattle’s Ravenna Room. No registration is necessary to attend this event.
