Stephen Town, Martha Kyrillidou (left to right)Emerald Group Publishing has selected “Developing a Values Scorecard” by University of York (UK) Library’s Stephen Town and ARL’s Martha Kyrillidou as the Outstanding Paper of 2014 for the Performance Measurement and Metrics journal. In the paper, which is freely available to download, Town and Kyrillidou propose a value scorecard that can be used alongside the balanced scorecard to draw a more value-oriented picture of library strengths and impact. Emerald presented the award to Town and Kyrillidou at the Library Assessment Conference in Seattle today, August 5, 2014.
