This study was undertaken in light of declining usage of print collections in business disciplines. A survey was conducted in the fall of 2009 to Marriott School Business faculty to gain insight on their use and perceptions of eBooks and to evaluate the potential for a transition from print to electronic as the primary format for monograph collections. Results indicate a preference for print books but a willingness to substitute eBooks. The study reveals reasons for faculty preferences and implications for future collection development.
