Wichita State University Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Dean of University Libraries. Reporting to the Dean of University Libraries, this position provides leadership and management support for the continuing transformation of one of Kansas' three research libraries. The Associate Dean contributes actively to the work of the Dean's Executive Council and currently oversees the Libraries' public services. The successful candidate provides leadership to 7 librarians and 12 support staff; manages strategic planning and assessment of public services and programs; oversees the collection management process, library instruction program, and library liaison program; oversees interlibrary loan and digitization on demand programs; oversees grant writing; prepares data analysis for the Dean; and must be able to adapt to rapid change and organizational restructuring easily. 12-month contract; salary package is commensurate with experience and includes an administrative stipend. Offers of employment are contingent on satisfactory completion of a criminal background check as required by the Kansas Board of Regents. WSU is an AA/EOE.
