Wichita State University Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of Associate Dean of University Libraries. Reporting to the Dean of University Libraries, this position provides leadership and management support for the continuing transformation of one of Kansas' three research libraries. The Associate Dean contributes actively to the work of the Dean's Executive Council and currently oversees the University Libraries Research Services Group, Library Instruction Program, Collection Management, Library Liaison Program, Access Services, Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery, the Patents and Trademarks Center, and Government Documents in Ablah Library, McKinley Chemistry Library, and the Thurlow Lieurance Memorial Music Library in MALIC. The University Libraries seeks a strong leader in academic librarianship who is committed to continuous quality improvement and user focused services. Salary includes an administrative stipend and is commensurate with experience, including excellent benefits. Appointment will be as a full-time, 12 month contract, tenure-eligible faculty member with rank dependent on professional, scholarly, and service experience. Offers of employment are contingent on satisfactory completion of a criminal background check as required by the Kansas Board of Regents. WSU is an AA/EOE.
