The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge and understanding of current issues in academic librarianship, a successful track record in managing and shaping change, strong collaborative skills, experience managing human resources, preferably in a unionized environment, and, above all, a passion for creating an intellectually stimulating learning environment and cultivating a positive high-service culture.
