Texas A&M University Libraries seeks a creative, energetic, and dynamic professional to join the Texas A&M University Libraries as Director of West Campus Library (WCL) and the Policy Sciences and Economics Library (PSEL). This is a tenure-track academic appointment carrying full faculty status and responsibilities including research, publication and service to meet both the Libraries’ and the University’s requirements for tenure and promotion.Reporting to the Associate Dean of User Services, the Director serves as a member of the Libraries’ management team and leads a faculty and staff of approximately 16 FTE in planning, developing, implementing, and assessing a comprehensive program of information services for the Mays Business School, the Bush School of Government and Public Service, and the departments of Political Science and Economics. The Director participates in division and libraries-wide planning and is the administrative link to the main campus library for all personnel, fiscal, and WCL building maintenance operations; manages budgets for equipment, supplies, and student wages.
