The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Library of the Health Sciences (LHS), seeks a faculty librarian to lead the Access to Resources Department in Chicago. The Access to Resources Department provides local and remote access to information resources, both electronic and print, via a variety of user services, including circulation, reserves, document delivery, and interlibrary loan to the health sciences community. In addition to providing leadership and supervision to a department of 11.5 FTE staff positions, the Access to Resources Librarian serves as the primary LHS Chicago administrator for initiatives that span the Library of the Health Sciences and provides liaison to operational units that support the University Library as a whole. This position also oversees operations related to building security and maintenance after hours.
