The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library (HSL) seeks an experienced, collaborative, enthusiastic, and outreach-oriented individual for the position of TraCS Knowledge Management Librarian. As a member of the HSL User Services Department, the individual in this position will work closely with staff and researcher members of the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (TraCS) Institute [http://tracs.unc.edu/] which is the university’s Clinical and Translational Science Award unit. The individual in this position will work within teams comprised of librarians, faculty Research Navigators, TraCS Institute staff, and others to manage data and publications generated by TraCS; provide training and consultation on use of traditional and new measures of research impact; participate in development, maintenance and support of management systems for faculty profiles (e.g., REACH NC http://reachnc.org/) and institutional and consortia research resources and services (e.g., eagle-I https://www.eagle-i.net/); provide training and consultation on compliance with public access and data management mandates for scholarly products; provide consultation on using internal and external funding resources to identify grants; maintain TraCS funding opportunity resources; and find multidisciplinary translational funding opportunities relevant for the team science program.
