Columbia University Libraries/Information Services invites applications for the position of Director, Copyright Advisory Office.Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Digital Programs and Technology Services, the Director will serve as a resource and advisor on the application of copyright policies to teaching and learning, research, and scholarly communication within the University. Responsibilities will include: educating and advising faculty and students about copyright through web based information, publications and training programs; monitoring legislative developments affecting copyright; advising the University on copyright policy development affecting the academic programs of the University; and advising on permissions issues and protection of University copyright.
