TRLN Program Officer

The Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN) seeks a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and collaborative librarian to serve as Program Officer for technology-related consortial activities. The TRLN Program Officer will manage and support the work of the TRLN councils and task groups to explore and solve some of the complex issues facing academic libraries today. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with talented and motivated staff across four research institutions to support long-standing cooperative collection development efforts and the discovery and delivery technologies necessary to service those materials. Reporting to the TRLN Executive Director, the person in this position will support consortium-wide activities and initiatives of the Technology Council, including Search TRLN, large-scale digitization projects, and new initiatives relating to technology. A main focus of this Council is the enhancement of discovery and delivery applications for our shared print and digital collections. This individual will coordinate the work of the Endeca Operations Committee, and the maintenance and enhancement of Search TRLN, based on the Oracle Endeca Platform. The Program Officer will assist with data gathering and analysis to support consortial projects and programs.
