Monographs Cataloger/Database Maintenance Liaison – University of Georgia Libraries, Cataloging Department The University of Georgia Libraries seeks a Monographs Cataloger/Database Maintenance Liaison who will be responsible to Head of the Monographs Cataloging for performing original and complex cataloging of monographic materials in all languages and subjects. This position will also serve as a liaison to the Head of Database Maintenance Section and members of the section and assist with complex and original cataloging issues, resolving problems with and updating bibliographic and holdings information in GIL; building OCLC data files and maintaining the quality of data in the Libraries' catalogs; cataloging Reading for Pleasure books and University of Georgia theses and dissertations; and making corrections to previously cataloged materials, etc. Materials cataloged may include electronic resources and other media. Materials are processed for the Main, Science, and Special Collections Libraries, some laboratory collections, and off-campus research facility libraries.
