Email Print PDF

George Mason University Libraries seeks an enthusiastic, collaborative and innovative librarian to provide leadership in expanding information literacy instruction to undergraduates and other novice users of the library and conduct related assessments. While participating fully in the reference, instruction and outreach mission of the Gateway Library @ Johnson Center, the Instructional Services and Assessment Librarian works collaboratively with others to explore and implement innovative strategies for instruction and assessment of information literacy by developing course-integrated programs of student-centered instruction; incorporating active learning into both face-to-face and online tutorials; proactively seeking faculty partners to integrate information literacy instruction into academic programs; and identifying appropriate learning outcomes and achieving them in demonstrable ways.
