The Florida State University Libraries seeks an innovative, energetic Science Librarian to work as part of a team to transform library support of the sciences at FSU. The Science Librarian has responsibility for supporting research, enabling access to resources and services, as well as providing other services that support Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, and similar fields. The Science Librarian will be based in the Dirac Science Library and will report to the Head of Dirac. This position is ideal for someone looking to take initiative in a dynamic environment to shape the future of science librarianship. The Dirac Science Library and this position offers support to FSU's academic departments, and also serves as the primary library support to the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, a world-class research facility. This dual support role presents the science librarian position with abundant collaboration and growth opportunities.
