Communications and Development Officer for the University Libraries (FA42Bz)

The George Mason University Libraries seek a creative, dedicated and collaborative individual for the position of Communications and Development Officer whose primary responsibility is to contribute to the Libraries’ advancement program through development of funding proposals to individual donors, foundations/corporations, and grant proposals to governmental agencies. In addition, this position will also execute a strategic communications program in support of the University Libraries’ advancement program and strategic plan in consultation with the Libraries’ senior administrative leadership team, and library faculty and staff. This program will include internal and external communications and marketing initiatives that build affinity and support among students, faculty, alumni and friends. The position reports to the Director of Development, University Libraries.
