The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Visiting Special Collections Librarian in its University Libraries.

This visiting faculty position, reporting to the Head, Special Collections Technical Services, will be responsible for acquiring and processing archival materials documenting the Jewish community in Southern Nevada. The librarian will assist the Director of Special Collections and the Project Coordinator in a documentation planning project, and will work closely with Jewish organizations and individuals to identify and acquire archival materials. The librarian will be responsible for appraising, accessioning, and processing collections in preparation for digitization. The librarian will create and maintain archival authority records, and will help select and write content for the web portal.
