The e-Learning and Instructional Technology Librarian will provide leadership in identifying, implementing, and maintaining instructional technologies and resources to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness.  This is a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level.  The ideal candidate will combine pedagogical knowledge of an instruction librarian with the application of instructional technologies to help deliver scalable and sustainable online instruction. This is an exciting opportunity to develop staff expertise in instructional technologies, to cultivate relationships with UM partners, and to apply innovative and best practices in shaping an e-learning environment in collaboration with the Library Instruction Coordinator.

Reporting to the Head of the Information and Research Services Division, the e-Learning and Instructional Technology Librarian will also provide  research assistance services to faculty, students, and staff within the library and virtually; partner with faculty to incorporate curriculum-based research and information literacy activities into courses; design library instruction sessions for students and faculty; and develops new models and programs to support research and the educational mission of the University. Active engagement in the library and information science profession as a whole is encouraged and supported.
