Provides general and specialized information literacy instructional services in the Library, across campus and online.
Develops virtual and face to face workshops on information literacy to meet the needs of all students, including on-campus, off-campus, and distance learners.
Keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of information literacy, instructional technologies, emerging practices, and information literacy standards.
Collaborates with faculty and colleagues to create relevant information literacy class assignments and tutorials as well as assessments.
Provides general and specialized research assistance at the Reference Desk.
Participates in collection development for assigned subject areas including weeding materials, serials review, and consulting with faculty on acquisitions.
Prepares instructional material including, Libguides, video and print tutorials and informational publications.
Contributes to the Library, the University, and the profession through involvement in committees, organizations, and service activities.
On occasion directs work of para-professional staff and student assistants.
Periodic evening and weekend work as required.
Performs other duties as required.
