Georgetown University Library seeks an experienced and engaged librarian to provide information services for public policy and other social science disciplines.  A member of the Association of Research Libraries and the Washington Research Libraries Consortium, Georgetown University Library embodies the University’s mission as a “student-centered research university.”

The Public Policy and Social Sciences Librarian supports the teaching and research endeavors of the University community by providing research, reference, and instructional services; coordinating the organization and content of web pages; and developing & managing—in all relevant formats—the Library’s collection for public policy, government information, and other social science disciplines as assigned; and serves as the Library’s lead staff member for GIS services and geospatial information.  This position reports to the Head of the Department of Collections, Research and Instruction along with 13.38 FTE librarians.
