Basic Function:
Under the supervision of the Pearson Library Assistant Director, this position manages all aspects of Resource Sharing (Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery) and traditional and electronic Reserves by planning, implementing, and improving these services to support teaching, research, and learning at the California Lutheran University. Working collaboratively with the library access services team, the librarian sets policy, establishes goals, and plans workflow for the library resource sharing and reserves utilizing the OCLC WorldShare ILL and WorldCat Discovery systems. She/He assists the Electronic Resources librarian with issues related to e-content access by performing troubleshooting and regular maintenance of the library e-resources; responding directly to user inquiries related to e-content access and providing resolution. This position serves as a resource in questions of copyright and fair use as they apply to resource sharing and reserves services.

 

Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination equivalent to: A Master's degree in Library and Information Science and two years of experience in an academic library or a Bachelor's degree in related field and four years of experience in an academic library.
