Krisellen Maloney Bio

Krisellen Maloney is Associate University Librarian for Digital Services and Technology Planning at Georgetown University Lauinger Library. In her position at Georgetown and in her previous positions at the University of Arizona, she has provided leadership for several projects that were completed to better understand and improve the core infrastructure of the digital library. Before her work in libraries, Kris worked in the area of digital imaging in medicine where she had extensive experience in the development of technology architectures and information standards for the medical community.

Kris holds master’s degrees in information systems (MS) and library science (MA) and a PhD from the University of Arizona in information science/cognitive science.
