Catherine Soehner is the Director of Science and Engineering Libraries at the University of Michigan. As such she is primarily concerned with administering a unique academic library service that merges resources from the arts and sciences, and fostering collaboration among the library, computer media production professionals, academic units, and other libraries. Prior to her position at the University of Michigan, Catherine worked at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and also held professional positions at the National Library of Medicine, where she recently served as a consultant. Catherine holds a BS in nursing from the College of Mount St. Joseph and received her master's in library science from Indiana University.
