ARL Membership to Convene May 6–8 in Columbus, Ohio

ARL president Carol Pitts Diedrichs, vice provost and director of university libraries at Ohio State University (OSU), will convene the 164th ARL Membership Meeting with welcoming remarks and the introductions of guests on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Several program sessions dedicated to discussion of ARL’s strategic thinking and design work are in development. The meeting will adjourn on Thursday, May 8, at noon. The Membership Meeting will be held at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel. The cutoff date for reserving a room at the ARL rate of $145 per night is April 13, 2014. Reservations made after that date will be on a space-available basis. You may make your hotel reservations via the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel website or by calling the toll-free reservations number 1-877-901-6632 and requesting rooms with the Association of Research Libraries.

ARL member representatives are also requested to complete the Attendance Questionnaire online by indicating the activities they plan to attend. The deadline for completion is April 13, 2014.
