The selection committee for the ARL/Digital Library Federation (DLF) Forum Fellowships for Underrepresented Groups has chosen five recipients for this award for 2014. Each fellow will receive complimentary registration for the DLF Forum, equivalent to $475, and financial support for travel, board, and lodging expenses up to a total of $1,250. The forum will be held October 27–29 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta.
The five fellowship recipients for 2014 are:

Hannah Scates Kettler, University of Iowa
Iyanna Sims, North Carolina A&T State University
Dorothy Terry, Morgan State University
Of a competitive group of applicants, these five candidates had the best combination of interest in the forum and playing an active part in the successful future of digital libraries, museum and archives services, and collections; experience and potential for beneficial contributions to the forum conversations; and financial need.
Following the forum, the fellows will write blog posts reflecting on their experiences. These blog posts will be published by DLF in November.
The ARL/DLF Forum Fellowships for Underrepresented Groups were first offered in 2013 with the intent of diversifying the DLF audience and creating a more inclusive forum enriched with new voices and perspectives that yield a more dynamic and exciting event.
