ARL Digital Scholarship Institute—Call for Applications for Summer 2017

The Connors Center

The application period for the first iteration of the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute is now open, with a deadline of April 1, 2017. An exciting new initiative of the ARL Academy, the Digital Scholarship Institute is a five-day, cohort-based opportunity for professionals in ARL member libraries who are new to digital scholarship to develop their skills in an intensive, yet supportive, learner-centered environment.

This iteration of the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute will take place June 5–9, 2017, at the Connors Center in Dover, Massachusetts, and is hosted by the Boston College Libraries. In this first instance of the institute, preference will be given to staff at ARL member libraries. The cost of the institute is $1,500, excluding travel and accommodations.

A second instance of the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute, to be hosted by UC San Diego, is planned for winter 2018.

Please see the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute webpage for additional information and instructions on how to apply. The application deadline for summer 2017 is April 1.

Update: The application deadline has been extended to Friday, April 14.
