The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) is offering a series of free webcasts that present the findings from the latest SPEC surveys and allow webcast participants to discuss trends with the survey authors. A 45-minute webcast will follow the publication of each SPEC Kit in 2017.
The next webcast in this series will cover the Campus-wide Entrepreneurship survey (SPEC Kit 355), which investigates how ARL member libraries are supporting campus entrepreneurship, both inside and outside of the classroom. The survey gathered information about library services and resources, funding models, staffing and administrative support, assessment, and the unique challenges of supporting these programs.
The Campus-wide Entrepreneurship webcast will review survey findings reported by ARL member libraries in March 2017. The survey authors will:
- present an overview of support provided by ARL member libraries for campus-wide entrepreneurship activities;
- show examples of library services and resources that support entrepreneurship; and
- review challenges and recommend strategies for managing those challenges and for developing library support for entrepreneurship activities.
The webcast will also include a discussion of promising trends and conclude with a question-and-answer session. Read the freely available SPEC Kit 355 in advance and have your questions ready.
