U Minnesota to Offer Institute for Early-Career Librarians in July

u-minnesota-andersen-libraryUMN Andersen LibraryThe University of Minnesota (UMN) Libraries is accepting applications for its ninth biennial Institute for Early Career Librarians from Traditionally Underrepresented Groups to be held July 19–July 25, 2014, at UMN Twin Cities. The institute focuses on the development of academic library leaders from diverse backgrounds. Participants will work on developing specific leadership abilities proven to be critical for organizational success. The 2014 program builds on the institutes offered every other year since 1998, with nearly 200 graduates participating from universities and colleges across the US and Canada.
