Research libraries and their institutions are faced with the challenge of influencing information policies to best support their environment. ARL's Public Policies Program is designed to provide the research library community with information on legislative, regulatory, and judicial issues. As part of that effort, the program distributes Public Policies E-News to help keep ARL members informed of current developments on priority issues.
ARL hopes this cumulative compilation will serve as a resource to track important legislation, key court cases, and international issues. This information is compiled by Prue Adler and Lee Anne George.
