Washington DC—The preliminary detailed program for the 2008 Library Assessment Conference is now available online at http://www.libraryassessment.org/schedule/.
The robust program offers more than 60 presentations in 9 parallel sessions. Presentation themes include information literacy, organizational culture, management information, qualitative methods, usability, and more.
Plenary sessions include a keynote panel featuring: Susan Gibbons (Vice Provost & Dean, River Campus Libraries, University of Rochester), Rick Luce (Vice Provost and Director of Libraries, Emory University), and Betsy Wilson (Dean of University Libraries, University of Washington).
The conference is co-sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), the University of Virginia Library, and the University of Washington Libraries and will be held August 4–7, 2008, in Seattle.
