Description

The Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position of Head of Innovative Media. Responsibilities: The Head of Innovative Media will collaborate with colleagues in the library and across campus to develop programs and services that focus on students and faculty creating and using media in course-related activities, including leading the Innovative Media program and service development, directing supervision of staff related to this program, and leading the implementation of new Innovative Media Studio, planned to open in 2015. The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member of VCU. Salary: Salary commensurate with experience, not less than $60,000 annually. This is a full-time, non-tenured faculty position.
