Overview

ARL publications report on current issues of interest to academic and research library administrators, staff, and library education professionals.

Most current ARL publications will be available in their entirety on the ARL Web site and many are also available in print form. The timing of the release of each format of a publication will vary but generally both formats will be available within six months of each other. Exceptions to this practice may occur when some of the copyrighted content in an ARL publication is held by others who have not provided permission for ARL to publish it on the Web.
