Gail Persily is Director of Education and Public Services and Associate Director of the Center for Instructional Technology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Library and Center for Knowledge Management. Gail has been at UCSF for 18 years and has focused her career on the library’s multiple roles supporting the use of technology to enhance education. More recently, she has been involved in educating faculty on scholarly communication issues and identifying ways the library can facilitate the collaborative research and dissemination process. Gail is a member of UC’s Scholarly Communication Officers group.
