The call for public access to federally funded research is spreading quickly due to the community-level activism of our peers on campuses across the United States. Here are just a few examples of what innovative supporters have done to engage their fellows:

• Higher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa. This page holds suggestions of specific donor or U.S. legislative actions, sorted by cost, that would help African universities (or would help put higher education to use in stimulating the economy, which in turn allows the expansion of education).
