As part of its mission to educate stakeholders about avenues for change in scholarly communication, SPARC conducts regular and periodic meetings. In addition to the SPARC-ACRL forum on emerging issues in scholarly communication held at every annual and midwinter meeting of the American Library Association, SPARC and SPARC Europe convene regular meetings on institutional repositories.

SPARC staff and representatives present frequently on open access, public access, SPARC, and other topics central to the coalition’s work.
