Article level metrics hold the promise to help tell a much richer story about a scholars work than a single measure could ever hope to do.  A panel of experts will explore what these emerging alternative metrics look like, how they work, and how they are being used. They'll also discuss both the promise and potential pitfalls of applying these measures in the research evaluation, tenure and promotion processes.
