As a SPARC member, you've made a purchase commitment that is separate from your membership fee and should be directed toward subscriptions to journals with which SPARC has established a publishing partnership. Please help these publishers remain strong and viable so they may continue to attract research and readers.

What is the SPARC Purchase Commitment?

The purchase commitment is the amount that the member agrees in principle to spend annually on new subscriptions to journals endorsed by SPARC.

Actual spending is contingent upon the member's satisfaction with the number, variety, quality, price and relevance of such journals offered. As new subscriptions are added, libraries will have the opportunity to more than offset their cost with reductions in the number of high-price journals to which they subscribe.

If you haven't already done so, please fulfill your annual purchase commitment by subscribing to the appropriate SPARC-endorsed journals.

Please order SPARC partner publications through your normal serials channels.
