4. Resources for Authors 

The University of Kansas became the first public university in the U.S. to adopt a policy to ensure free and open access to the results of the institution’s research outputs. As a growing number of colleges and universities embark on the path toward an institutional open-access policy, SPARC invites libraries to take advantage of a new Web resource built to leverage experience gained in establishing such policies to date.

5. Resources for Publishers

SPARC is developing an overview of open access monograph publishing initiatives. The review will provide descriptions of current initiatives, focusing on the business models used to sustain the projects, and with detailed case studies of selected initiatives.Anyone interested in more information should contact Raym Crow, crow@arl.org

6. SPARC Resources for Students

The Right to Research Coalition has welcomed the Canadian Federation of Students as its newest member.  The addition of CFS marks the coalition's expansion to include the premiere student organizations of both the United States and Canada, a crucial step in making the student movement for Open Access truly international.  For more information, check out http://www.righttoresearch.org.
