In the digital world, the ways we share and use scholarly material are expanding — rapidly, fundamentally, irreversibly.

5. Resources for Publishers

For a resource guide to campus-based publishing, SPARC seeks sample planning and policy documents from existing publishing initiatives. Documents sought include business plans, publishing prospectuses, charters and governance documents, memoranda of understanding for publishers or partnerships, author agreements and instructions, editorial and peer review policies, licensing and copyright policies, metadata standards, technical specifications, etc. Please contact Raym Crow (crow [at] arl [dot] org) with any suggestions or questions.

This month, the Right to Research Coalition welcomed the world's largest medical student organization, the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA), as its 31st member. With this significant addition, the R2RC has a greatly expanded global presence and now represents nearly 7 million students internationally. For more information, see our press release:
