Working in a collaborative, team environment, under the general guidance of the Associate Dean of the UW Libraries and Director of the Health Sciences Library, the Assistant Director of CRDS is responsible for providing leadership and program development for curricular and clinical research initiatives and services to the UW community. This position invests in scalable, sustainable and technology-rich teaching focused on critical interprofessional educational (IPE) skills. Serving on the Management Team, the incumbent will lead a team of librarians who will develop and implement programs for learning and information needs of students, faculty, healthcare professionals, researchers, residents and fellows, and the Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS). ITHS is one of more than 50 Clinical and Translational Science Award sites nationwide working to change how biomedical research and training is performed.
