Northern Arizona University's Cline Library seeks an experienced librarian to bring leadership, expertise, and vision to its Content, Discovery and Delivery Services (CDDS) unit, from oversight of daily operations to planning for the future. This is a twelve-month continuing status (equivalent to tenure) or continuing status eligible (equivalent to tenure track) academic professional position at the Associate Librarian or Librarian rank. CDDS provides core and high-profile library resources and services including: cataloging and metadata; collections management; document delivery; electronic resources; electronic reserves; and the OpenKnowledge@NAU institutional repository. The unit head is responsible for overseeing and maximizing the library's use of ExLibris Alma and Primo and for providing data- and assessment-informed stewardship of the library's acquisitions budget and its collections. This position is responsible for enhancing and supporting the job performance, professional growth, and career progression of the unit's talent. ALA-accredited graduate degree from a library and information science program or an advanced degree in a related field. Three or more years of post-degree experience in content, discovery, and delivery services as related to the position responsibilities. Two or more years of successful supervisory experience including goal setting, performance management, and formal evaluation.
