Kent State University Libraries seeks a knowledgeable, collaborative, and innovative librarian to lead our general collection development and management operations.  This position will be key to creating and sustaining an environment of evidence-based acquisition and will seek a broad representation of ideas using new mediums and technologies to assess and provide point-of-need access to the collection.  This positions is responsible for the fiscal planning, reporting, and management of the Libraries' $4.5 million general collections budget.  This will be a 12-month tenure-track faculty position reporting to the Assistant Dean for Collections and Technology.
