The University at Buffalo Libraries seek an Annex Automation & Operations Manager (Senior Staff Assistant) to oversee the daily activities of the Libraries Annex (high density off-site library) and provide high quality service to library users. The Annex Automation & Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Libraries Annex collection of over one million items and have the opportunity to influence important operating policies, improve efficiency and incorporate emerging technologies into processes. The incumbent will oversee the fulfillment of physical material requests that originate from Delivery+, the Libraries’ document delivery service, and other borrowing institutions making sure requests are filled within expected service parameters. This individual will ensure safe and effective operation of the Annex by developing and maintaining a team environment that is inclusive and conducive to positive employee morale and growth.
