Lee Anne George

Lee Anne George is the ARL publications program officer. Lee Anne joined ARL in May 1998. She works with internal and external authors, graphic designers, and printers to produce a variety of ARL publications, including SPEC Kits, Statistics, conference proceedings, monographs, Occasional Papers, reports, and promotional material.

From 1999 to 2018 she has edited the SPEC Kit series and worked with authors to develop their surveys, analyze their data, and compile their findings into the familiar SPEC Kit format.

Before coming to ARL, Lee Anne was the librarian for information and document delivery services at Harvard College Library where she coordinated interlibrary loan services across the 11 Harvard College Libraries and oversaw the transfer of material from Widener Library to the Harvard Depository. Prior to that, she held several positions at George Washington University Library, including coordinator for the Gelman Library Information Service, head of the Document Delivery Services Department, and acting assistant university librarian for information services. She has also been a reference librarian at Georgetown University. Her background includes project planning and implementing new services. She has a BS in German and education from Vanderbilt University and an MLS from the University of Pittsburgh.
