
The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) is seeking an exceptional colleague to support the director of Events on all of ARL’s events and operations functions. Core duties of the position include supporting the coordination, logistics, and management of the Association’s flagship events, which currently include semi-annual Association Meetings, the annual President’s Institute, the biennial Library Assessment Conference, and the triennial IDEAL Conference. This position may also support other emerging ARL events. This position contributes to the development of a trusting and inclusive culture which reinforces ARL norms and values, including the Code of Conduct.
This is a full-time, temporary 12-month position. The expected full-time, 12-month salary for this position is $75,000.
ARL is headquartered in Washington, DC, and operates as a mobile-first work environment. Employees may work remotely within the United States with the expectation of occasional work onsite in the office. This position requires travel within the United States and Canada. All travel expenses will be paid by the organization.
