ARL member institutions are well represented in the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) 2025 election results.
Eight employees of ARL member institutions and one ARL staff member were elected to the North America Regional Division Committee (ARL member representatives in bold):

Athena Salaba of Kent State University was elected IFLA Professional Council chair. Mimi Calter of Washington University in St. Louis and Vivian Lewis of McMaster University were elected Professional Division Committee chairs.
Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was elected as an IFLA Governing Board member at large.
Six employees of ARL member institutions were elected to IFLA advisory committees:
