The application period for the second iteration of the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute is now open, with a deadline of Friday, October 6, 2017. An initiative of the ARL Academy, the Digital Scholarship Institute is a five-day, cohort-based opportunity for professionals in ARL member libraries who are new to digital scholarship and would like to develop their skills in an intensive, yet supportive, learner-centered environment.

This iteration of the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute will take place Monday–Friday, January 8–12, 2018, on the campus of UC San Diego, and is hosted by the UC San Diego Library. As with the first instance of the institute, preference will be given to applicants from ARL member libraries. The cost of the institute is $1,500, excluding travel and accommodations.

Please see the ARL Digital Scholarship Institute webpage for additional information and instructions on how to apply. The application deadline is October 6.
