Austin Booth Named Dean of Division of Libraries at New York University

Austin Booth

New York University (NYU) has appointed H. Austin Booth as dean, Division of Libraries, effective July 1, 2018.

Booth is currently vice provost for University Libraries at the University at Buffalo. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Board of Directors in an ex officio capacity as chair of the ARL Coordinating Committee.

At NYU, Booth will succeed Carol A. Mandel, who is stepping down in July 2018 (see page 16 of PDF) when she becomes Dean Emerita, after leading the NYU Division of Libraries for 19 years.
