Bélanger, Hitchens, Lamont to Provide Interim Library Leadership at University of Waterloo

The University of Waterloo has appointed an interim library management team, effective May 1, 2016. The team members are: Annie Bélanger, associate university librarian, information resources and academic excellence, and a 2013–2015 ARL leadership fellow; Alison Hitchens, acting associate university librarian, research and digital discovery services; and Sharon Lamont, director, organizational services. Bélanger, Hitchens, and Lamont will lead the library while the University of Waterloo conducts a search to replace Mark Haslett, who is retiring May 1, 2016, after 13 years as university librarian and 20 years with the library.
