The 11th Annual ARLIES Film Festival is accepting submissions from ARL member libraries through April 1āno joke! š¤£
The ARLIES (pronounced R-LEEZ) is juried by ARL member representatives and culminates in a showing of selected original videos by member libraries. This year the screening will be held on Tuesday, April 28, at 1:15 p.m. EDT at the 188th Spring Association Meeting in Knoxville, Tennessee. Winners will be announced at the meeting on Wednesday morning, April 29.
Host a Live Watch Party!Ā šæ The ARLIES invites member institutions to host watch parties this year! SimplyĀ sign up and tune in to the provided Zoom link on Tuesday, April 28, at 1:10 p.m. EDT. Gather your colleagues, pop some popcorn, and see what great work the research libraries around Canada and the US are doing. Watch parties will be broadcast live on the screen at the beginning of the festival. A general live stream via YouTube will also be made available for anyone who wants to watch.
New this year, library staff will have an opportunity to vote for a new award category, the Peopleās Choice award! Access to vote will be provided during the ARLIES Film Festival live stream.

The ARLIES highlights and shares multimedia products developed by member institutions to increase knowledge and use of libraries and their spaces, services, collections, and expertise. We encourage submissions that reflect the diversity of the library user population. Submissions are limited to ARL member libraries.
